Machine Operator needed in Oshkosh, WI! Direct Hire! 

Trillium Staffing, a leader in the staffing industry, is currently recruiting for an experienced Machine Operator to add to our client’s growing team! 

The Machine Operator will be running a Folder Gluer machine for our client. The Machine Operator will be responsible for leading their assigned line and assistant operators in the full set-up and operation of machines to collate, fold, and glue cartons to customer specifications. Candidates with Folder Gluer and Finishing Operator experience is a huge plus and comes with potential for increased starting wage! 

Key responsibilities of this position include:

• Leads improvement and ensures team safety.
• Provides team leadership to meet quality, on-time delivery, and waste reduction goals.
• Promotes communication, problem solving and ownership of process.
• Locates product and materials needed for each production order.
• Meets or exceeds production metrics.
• Loads stock in machine throughout run.
• Monitors job quality throughout run
• Oversees Finishing Department helpers.
• Records material usage and time
• Perform routine preventative maintenance.

This is a full-time, direct hire opportunity, with a well-established organization in the Oshkosh, WI area!  The standard shift is Monday - Thursday 6:00pm - 6:00am, with voluntary overtime available. The starting wage for this position is $26.50/hr+ and a $2/hr shift premium for hours worked between 6:00pm - 6:00am.

Qualifications:
* 3+ years of Machine Operator experience, required.
* 1+ year of Folder/Gluer or Finishing Machine operator or assistant experience a plus.
* Strong mechanical aptitude, required.
* Ability to lead a team
* Strong attention to detail required. 
* Experience in the packaging, paper, or corrugate industry is a plus!
